In the context of the CONSIDER project and the Conference East-Meets-West on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Signosis is organizing on 3 September 2012 in Nicosia, Cyprus, a session entitled “Facilitating and assessing the participation of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in research“. (CONSIDER-workshop)

The session, which is open to CSOs, researchers, policy makers and industry representatives, aims to provide insight to the question of stakeholder engagement in research and more particularly to the participation of CSOs in research design and governance. The session will include an open discussion with CSOs’ representatives, academics and researchers from various fields and a panel discussion will investigate the typology, the current problems and the models that could facilitate the participation and assessment of CSOs’ input to research.
